Taft is written in Ruby, using the Ruby on Rails web application framework.

Taft’s files were edited in Vim on a computer running Arch Linux and on a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X Tiger.

Taft is hosted on by Slicehost, on a VPS running the Etch release of Debian. The web server is Apache 2. The application server is Mongrel. The database server is MySQL 5.

Taft’s design is based on the Blueprint CSS framework. The sortable tables are provided by TableKit.
